What a twisty lead up the garden path this was, on more than one occasion! I had thought on one of the side plots that the author was going to announce some big news, but alas it wasn't to be. The big reveal with whom was behind everything, I thought the author was actually going to go there and do something left field, but to my relief, it wasn't - and boy was I relieved! #BookReview of Clara’s Christmas Magic by Rosie Green @Rosie_Green88 @Rararesources #RosieGreen #ClarasChristmasMagic #TheLittleDuckPondCafe #ZooloosBookDiary
Oh, be still my beating heart... Although I am sure I say this every time I read one of Rosie's books! I fell into my normal Sunday night trap with her book 🙈 I started it and now at nearly midnight after an hour and a half I finished it. #BookReview of The Night Nurse by Cole Baxter @inkubatorbooks #ColeBaxter #ZooloosBookDiary
I have to say I think this was my favourite one out of all of Cole's books. You have a backstory of Laura and her childhood, which wasn't always easy to read about. You see how this has affected her present-day and her relationship with her dad and brother. Then you have her father who's got dementia and needs a full-time carer. In walk the most amazing couple. A brother and sister duo who look after dementia patients. You know straight away ... Read the Post...
