I had a feeling where the results would go this week from all the comments by you lovely people!! Bit gutted that a couple of them have gone but I am happy with the ones that are staying, so the results are in……
So I am saving this week….
Looks like some good choices here! I am slowly clearing the shelves down, once I get to a managable number then I am not sure what I will be doing! I do have an update on the NetGalley SOS, where more voting will be needed.
We still have 534 books to decided upon, and my current want to read is 1136, although I have a feeling, not all my books are listed, and as we know 631 of this figure is NetGalley! It appears when I was working on my NetGalley figures I looked at the total books I had been approved for…..not realising I have reviewed some of these!!
On to this week’s offerings……
Which 2 do you save?

Taking a job in the studio of an Edinburgh taxidermist probably isn’t Walt’s wisest decision.
Suffering from combat stress and struggling to outrun the demons from his past, he now finds himself confronted by the undead on a daily basis.
His enigmatic boss, Alys, and her sister, Mouse, have their own uneasy relationship with the past.
Someone doesn’t want to let them go.
Can Walt save Mouse’s eight-year-old son, William, from becoming the next victim? And can he save himself?
Deliciously disturbing, this psychological thriller peels back the skin of one modern family to reveal the wounds no one wants to see. It deals with the effects of trauma and how facing up to vulnerability is sometimes the only way to let go of the past.

Thirty-something Charlotte’s Emsworth’s life is a sickeningly perfect round of charity events, hot yoga, and romantic gestures for sexy lawyer husband James.
But, patiently waiting to get pregnant, Charlotte is bored.
And when she’s bored, she has a tendency to meddle…
First, it’s her personal trainer Megan’s cheating fiancé, then the gardener Sam’s wife’s ‘late nights at the office’.
But soon the meddling, however well-intentioned, lands Charlotte in way over her head, and all the time spent ‘managing’ other people’s lives makes her blind to the cracks appearing in her own…
Getting even is one thing, but what about getting happy?

How much can one family take?
Jenny Carbrook murdered three people to make it look as though there was a serial killer at work in Lincoln when the only person she wanted to kill was Ray Carbrook, her father-in-law, who had raped her the week before her marriage to Mark, Ray's son.
Jenny wrote letters detailing her crimes in order to protect everyone she loved but was forced to go into hiding before retrieving the evidence against her.
Not only did she leave the letters behind but also her young daughter, Grace.
Now Jenny has a plan, a strategy, to get the letters back. But it's not only the letters that Jenny has in her sights...

A warehouse in Japan used as an emergency shelter in the aftermath of the 2011 Tsunami.
A distraught, young Japanese woman in dishevelled clothes sits on a box, holding her infant daughter. Ben, a US rescue volunteer, kneels in front of her offering comfort.
They hug, the baby between them.
The moment turns into an hour as the woman sobs into his shoulder; mourning the loss of her husband, her home, the life she knew.
A picture is taken, capturing the moment. It becomes a symbol; of help freely given and of the hope of the survivors.
The faces in the picture cannot be recognised, and that is how Ben likes it. No celebrity, thanks not required.
But others believe that being identified as the person in the picture is their path to fame and fortune.
Ben stands, unknowingly, in their way, but nothing a contract killing cannot fix.
