What has landed on my lap this week? #1 #netgalley #bookpost #giveaways #bookpurchases #nevertoomanybooks

So as you can see I have started to take part in some meme’s this week and I will continue to do so. I have had so much writing those posts and I wanted to keep the fun up. I know that there is a lot of weekly wraps up posts meme’s already but I want to rebel and do my own one lol.

So how crazy have I been this week?

So a giveaway win for me! So excited for this, what is the book about then?

Her father abused her when she was a child. For years she was too afraid to speak out. But now she suspects he’s found another victim…

Laura, a young woman struggling to deal with what her father did to her a decade ago, is horrified to realise that the girl he takes swimming might be his next victim. Emma is twelve – the age Laura was when her father took away her innocence.

Intimidated by her father’s rages, Laura has never told anyone the truth about her childhood. Now she must decide whether she has the courage to expose him and face the consequences.

Can Laura overcome her fear and save Emma before the worst happens?

Another giveaway win! And this time it came with a huge bundle!!! This is Reprobation by Catherine Fearns!

Are you one of the elect?

Dr. Helen Hope is a lecturer in eschatology – the study of death, judgement, and the destiny of humankind. She is also a Calvinist nun, her life devoted to atoning for a secret crime.

When a body is found crucified on a Liverpool beach, she forms an unlikely alliance with suspect Mikko Kristensen, lead guitarist in death metal band Total Depravity. Together, they go on the trail of a rogue geneticist who they believe holds the key – not just to the murder, but to something much darker.

Also on the trail is cynical Scouse detective Darren Swift. In his first murder case, he must confront his own lack of faith as a series of horrific crimes drag the city of two cathedrals to the gates of hell.

Science meets religious belief in this gripping murder mystery.

And last bit of book post is The Dark Vault by V.E Schwab! This the Archived series Book 1 – 2.5! Woah and it is a big book!

Imagine a place where the dead rest on shelves like books.
Each body has a story to tell, a life seen in pictures only Librarians can read. The dead are called Histories, and the vast realm in which they rest is the Archive.
Da first brought Mackenzie Bishop here four years ago, when she was twelve years old, frightened but determined to prove herself. Now Da is dead, and Mac has grown into what he once was: a ruthless Keeper, tasked with stopping often violent Histories from waking up and getting out. Because of her job, she lies to the people she loves, and she knows fear for what it is: a useful tool for staying alive.
Being a Keeper isn’t just dangerous-it’s a constant reminder of those Mac has lost, Da’s death was hard enough, but now that her little brother is gone too, Mac starts to wonder about the boundary between living and dying, sleeping and waking. In the Archive, the dead must never be disturbed. And yet, someone is deliberately altering Histories, erasing essential chapters. Unless Mac can piece together what remains, the Archive itself may crumble and fall.

And finally my Netgalley haul, ok I have an addiction which is spiralling out of control, I do not have the time for all these books – doh! Who needs sleep right?! But in my defence 1 is for a blog tour! … no? I was not sold either!

So I am off now, to figure out how to read all these books…….Christmas time right?

Until next time xx

I think I need to have a temporary ban on there and catch up before I keep requesting more! I blame the publishers they keep approving me 🤣🤣
