So tomorrow is my little ones 5th birthday and so I will be having a manic weekend. I have booked bowling for all her friends and her of course. I wanted to make a big fuss what with daddy not being around. Wish me luck! I have a manic week on the blog next week posting daily, but soon, so very soon the blog tours will be calming down and I will not be bothering everyone daily! I can catch up with my reading and take a break and enjoy the month of December. But before that, my week in books.
Still no suggestions on the name, come on people, do you seriously like Lap Wrap??? ha ha
So my week in books, I have decided I think I need to be shot! So let me start with my book post, and I have been spoilt this week! (sorry about the rubbish picture!)
- The Stranger Diaries by Elly Griffiths (a gifted book)
- The Lights of Time by Paul Ian Cross (Blog Tour)
- Blood and Sugar by Laura Shepherd-Robinson (giveaway win)
- She was the quiet one by Michele Campbell (Blog Tour)
- The Liar’s Girl by Catherine Ryan Howard (Blog Tour)
All of these are blog tours!!! Side note, as it stands I am waiting to hear about 2 more blogs and then no more signing up until March tours!! (Famous last words)
No new requests this week and but three new purchases due to a cover reveal I did earlier in the week for these books
However, I was good on NetGalley this week (two blog tours) and then I discovered Kindle Unlimited!!!
Told you I was good! (These were old requests) Then my Kindle Unlimited…..So in my defence I got book one of the Jane Issac series because I am on the tour for book two! And Jessica Redland is fast becoming one of my favourite authors, so I wanted to grab her books while I could!
So how has your book week been? Anything you think might appeal to you?
I think I must stop now. It is getting out of hand, hence me slowing the blog tours down so I can focus on my own reading, and getting my life balance back. Since February this year, it has been constant and I need a breather. FYI – I have still got all my old posts to re-post on the blog, so you have not heard the last of me! Next year I will be focusing on clearing my NetGalley shelves and I will need your help to choose the books!
Until next week
