With Zak and Ellie’s wedding day approaching, there's high excitement in the pretty village of Sunnybrook, especially among the Little Duck Pond Café crew.
Ellie is over the moon with her romantic surprise wedding gift from Zak, and Madison is promising to organise a hen party to remember. Everyone has high hopes for a magical Christmas Eve wedding celebration at gorgeous Brambleberry Manor. (Even Maisie-Moo has a sparkling new outfit.)
But sometimes, even the best-laid plans can go wrong. And with the journey to the altar turning out to be rockier than expected, it’s going to take nothing short of a Christmas miracle to ensure a happy ending . . .
✮ My Review ✮
And I am back again with friends and this time there is a wedding we have been invited to! Exciting times! While we have the bells ready to sing out, we get to see this novella not from only Ellie’s point of view but Jaz and Fen! Yes, the original Bellas are back! I am so glad I read the first book before I started this one because it had so many little comments about it that just made me smile when I read them.
Running up to the wedding we see how Ellie, Jaz and Fen are coping and what has been happening in their lives. Ellie and her excitement for her wedding but she has suspicions to what Zak is up to. Jaz and her diagnosis with her endometriosis and her newfound struggles in life. Fen, all loved up but then something happens and it upsets her bubble. That is all I will say on the matter, but these are three women that have a special place in my heart. I have seen them from the very beginning where they all, in their own way, start with nothing and now their lives are flourishing and they have all come out of their shells. The friendship these girls have is one that definitely makes you smile and I can think of a couple of girls I know that I share the same friendship with.
We do still see the newer additions in this novella, the extended family, and even though their voice is not directly heard it is through the three girls. We see their storylines progressing and make for exciting reading in the future. I am looking forward to seeing a book from Madison’s point of view and from Primrose’s again!
Each and every one of these novellas has made me smile and enjoy the true love story, even if it doesn’t always run easy. Yes, there were a few times where you are led to suspect a few things but I was egging the girls on not to think the worse. I did blitz through this in one sitting because I just needed to know how it would end. I now want the next one, like now. I mean when it has Lemon Drizzle in a title I am there as it is like my favourite cake ever!! Seriously look no further if you want to read about happy ever after in a cafe by a Little Duck Pond, which is a character in its own right.

What have bloggers said so far on tour?
The Writing Garnet says:- That said, I still enjoyed this magical read, and it was refreshing to see Madison being knocked down a peg or two – I’ve still not warmed to her!! Once again, cosiness is at the heart of this story and Rosie Green delivers that with such fabulousness like ever before! I really dont think I’ll ever tire of this series!!
The Book DeCoder says:- I cannot tell you how eager I have been to read this book. Lellie and Zak are getting married. *throws confetti in the air* Snow, romance, family, relationships and much more, I absolutely loved, loved, loved A Winter Wedding at the Little Duck Pond Cafe. *throws confetti in the air* Rosie Green is one of the sweetest authors out there. *throws confetti in the air* Her storytelling is SUPERB! *throws confetti in the air* The Little Duck Pond Cafe series is one of my favorite series. *I should stop throwing confetti in the air before someone complains that I am dirtying the place*
The Comfy Chair says:- This visit to our favourite Little Duck Pond Café does not disappoint in any way. I’m going to avoid saying too much plot wise as I am very keen not to give anything away. We get to see things from Elle, Jaz and Fen’s perspectives and I really enjoyed getting back to seeing things from their points of view again…..Rosie Green has given us a loveable, laughable novella that I enjoyed from the moment I started to read. I cannot wait to be back again.
Books, life and Everything says:- Having read most of the Little Duck Pond novellas, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with life in the village again. This story centred upon Zac and Ellie’s wedding but in fact was told from the perspectives of Ellie, Fen and Jaz. There are obstacles on the way to the big day and another chance to share in the friendship and happiness which seems to settle in the air in Sunnybrook. As you discover, some characters have doubts and panics which have to be faced.
I also liked the minor characters who were in the background, usually in the cafe itself. Primrose’s newly acquired relatives are a case in point. As with all the previous stories, there are hints of where the story can go next. I am looking forward to the next instalment of this heart-warming look at family and friendship.

Babydolls and Razorblades says:- I enjoyed how the author brought all the characters together instead of just focusing on just one, as the previous books have been. I was excited to read this novella so I managed to read it in one sitting. This was yet another fantastic feel good, joyful read from Rosie. I can’t wait to read the next installment.
By the Letter BookReviews says:- A Winter Wedding At The Little Duck Pond Cafe brings a delightful mixture of romance and friendship with a wedding included at the most magical time of the year. It’s a heartwarming and cosy read that radiates warmth and everything that’s good.
Audio Killed the Bookmark says:- The eighth installment in this delightful series and it might be my favorite so far. I just loved that the story was told from the perspectives of all three of the original girls, Ellie, Jaz, and Fen. The story centers around the events leading up to Zak and Ellie’s wedding, but there is much more going on. All the characters (old and new) have a lot going on in their lives and we get to glimpse a piece of all that is going on. I love the strong supportive friendships between all the females in the series.
Books and Me says:- I loved every minute of this book! There’s a great warmth and humour written into each character and you can easily picture yourself turning up in the community and finding a friend or two to hang out with and I’m already counting down the days until the next installment – Lemon Drizzle Mondays is on the way soon!! Hurry up already!!!
Until next time xxx
