Tessa has always dreamed of her own business. And when a beautiful tumbledown house comes up for sale in the Southern town of Bellegrove, she knows it has perfect potential to be an amazing one-stop wedding shop.
Teaming up with wedding planner to the stars Stefan, cake-baker extraordinaire Ama, and dress designer Natalie, they’re ready for big things. They’ve even found their first client – a sweet old lady called Bianca, who’s desperate to give her grandson a spectacular wedding. (Even though he’s equally determined to keep it simple and romantic.)
But as the big day approaches, things start to go wrong. Handsome handyman Blake Ellingham breaks the news that the building needs re-wiring and the bill for renovations is longer than a royal wedding train. And then Stefan suddenly quits…
Can Tessa pull off the dream wedding? Can Blake be convinced to help? And if the electrics are broken, why are so many sparks flying between him and Tessa?
Happy publication day Laura!
I am over the moon to be able to share my review with you today on publication day!!
This was a little gem of a read. Who does not want to read about women taking the plunge and setting up a business using their skills in the wedding industry. I think that some point in every girl’s life they wanted to plan weddings, even if it was just their own. I know I did, but I ended up in Finance……
It is Tessa’s dream to leave her job and set up her own Wedding events company, but she is too scared to do it on her own, so she lists some help from friends, Ama who makes the most amazing cakes to boot, and Natalie who designs and makes the most amazing dresses. I loved the blind faith they have in each other to make this work, and all bringing their individual skills and contacts to plan the perfect wedding for their client.
Here the Wedding Belles are made.
Tessa finds and buys a gorgeous house for them to all
I was fully invested in Tessa and the girls and backed them all the way, wanting everything to work out for them, so they could all achieve their dreams. When their first client comes in, Bianca, you wonder if they are up to the task, especially with Bianca dream of giving her grandson the most lavish wedding, she can afford. I really do love reading wedding books, and it made a refreshing change to read behind the scenes of a wedding, the lives of the planners and not focus on the bride and her bridal party.
To learn this is not the last time I will be hearing from these girls has made my day for sure!
