Well, I am shocked by the results this week – I did not expect them to go this way! I am saving a book! I know that there is a clear winner but the position 2 is quite close so this week is as follows:-
This is one I kinda thought might be saved!
This is the last batch of books now. It has been a struggle to get to these ones. My total of books to read is now 1,046 which I think has culled 1,000 books approx since I started this feature! Thank you so much for your help!! So, what do I do now? Do we go through the list again and start culling more and this time I become more strict and include everything. I am not sure will have to see how I feel. I should cull more books I suppose…
Although I am starting a new feature starting April! It means more voting too LOL.
Well, what do I have for you this week? It is getting tough as I am chucking stuff before I get you guys to vote!
Forgotten Bones (Dead Remaining #1) by Vivian Barz
Goodreads
An unlikely pair teams up to investigate a brutal murder in a haunting thriller that walks the line between reality and impossibility.
When small-town police officers discover the grave of a young boy, they’re quick to pin the crime on a convicted felon who lives nearby. But when it comes to murder, Officer Susan Marlan never trusts a simple explanation, so she’s just getting started.
Meanwhile, college professor Eric Evans hallucinates a young boy in overalls: a symptom of his schizophrenia—or so he thinks. But when more bodies turn up, Eric has more visions, and they mirror details of the murder case. As the investigation continues, the police stick with their original conclusion, but Susan’s instincts tell her something is off. The higher-ups keep stonewalling her, and the FBI’s closing in.
Desperate for answers, Susan goes rogue and turns to Eric for help. Together they take an unorthodox approach to the case as the evidence keeps getting stranger. With Eric’s hallucinations intensifying and the body count rising, can the pair separate truth from illusion long enough to catch a monster?

Another chuck the lot vote here. What else have you got for us to vote for ?
Zoé says
Oh I will have lots for you to vote on! ?
Davida Chazan says
Rule of thumb: if you have any doubts about a book on your TBR list, and it is the first in a series, CHUCK it immediately. That way, you don’t get stuck with another 5-7 books added to your TBR list in case you think “well, it was okay but maybe the next one will be better.” It is a bottomless pit of a rabbit hole!
