How is it September! I mean where is time going?! One thing though it does mean that it’s getting closer to the Capital Crime Festival!!!! Yikes! Can not wait! I have finally sorted my GR shelves and I might be able to start my feature up very soon again where I know everyone loves a healthy debate on books!
Apart from that, mini-me starts Year 1 on Tuesday, I am excited for her but I can’t believe she is growing up so quickly! Eeekk
Reading Festival was just epic!! Feels like a long time ago already! Saw so many awesome bands and booked tickets to see a band for next year. Foos were immense as always, 4th time of seeing them and it was just as awesome as the 1st time!! And then a hectic day at Chessington!
What have I read this week?
Not too great but two FANTASTIC books!!!
What have I bought this week?
A Kindle Unlimited book and my audible credit. I feel like my break with Jack should come to an end after a year!
What has landed on my lap this week?
That’s it NOTHING!!! It has been a quiet but much needed quiet week. 10 requests on NetGalley going back to February that have not been approved yet but no clicking has been done – yay!
ICYMI my posts this week
Monday – nothing
Tuesday – it’s empty
Wednesday – My review of Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson
Thursday – My audiobook Review of Their Lost Daughters by Joy Ellis
Friday – My audiobook Review of The Magpies by Mark Edwards & My Positivity Wave
Saturday – My review of Rewind by Catherine Ryan Howard
Sunday – This post only & What September reads am I excited for
Do you notice something…No tour books!! These were reviews that I wanted to read – bizarre I know!
Anything else?
Not a lot really! I have ordered an Alexa which I can not wait for, I think I will be fighting for it with mini-me. I am wanting a quiet day but somehow I do not think mini-me is going to let me, so I might take her to the beach!! Not that I will be able to chill out much, I will be made to dig holes, so we shall see lol
How has your week been? Read any books that might be in your top books for the year?
Until next time xxx

It sounds like you had a fab time at Reading! I love the Foos too – we got right to the front to see them at the Isle of Wight festival a few years ago and it’s still one of the highlights of my life! I read Rewind recently as well – isn’t it such a fab read?! I’m glad you enjoyed it too. Hope all goes well for your daughter (and you) on her first day in year one. I love our Alexa – they do become addictive though and our home is slowly becoming reliant on it! Eeek!
