That’s A #WeeklyLapWrap 6th October 2019

Well, it has a been a week of normality! No Crime Festival and no time off work, for the first time in a month I have had to do my normal hours at work, that hurt! The good thing is I have a bookish event at the end of the month at the Grand Hotel in Folkestone, really excited to see the likes of Lizzy Chantree, Emma Pullar, Karen Aldous and Kerry Barnes to name a few! And off to a book launch in November, things to look forward to at least!!

I was not well early hours of Saturday morning, so I was awake at 2 am! It was a long day but very busy, had my mum friends over to have a nose at the house and a big play date for the kiddies, off to swimming and then movie night with the mini-me. I was passed out by 10 pm! Today is a bit more chilled, helps with how much rain there is, but have my friend travelling down with one of her little ones as her hubby is pleading man flu!

On to things all bookish then,

What am I currently reading?

First two are tour books and the other two are audiobooks just because I want to!

What have I read this week?

What have I bought this week?

Erm……there was a festival and I may have gone a little bit crazy……..

What has landed on my lap this week?

ICYMI my posts

Monday – Her Missing Child by Kerry Watts

Tuesday – Innocent or Guilty by A.M. Taylor

Wednesday – Ask Me No Questions by Louisa De Lange

Thursday – What October Reads am I excited for?

Friday – My write up of the Capital Crime Festival – When the Baby blogger is let out into the Wild

Saturday – Should I Stay or Should I go? (Don’t forget to vote!)

Today! – AudiobookReview of Sleep by CL Taylor

Wow I actually did some blogging this week!!

Anything else?

Not really much else to report! I am beginning to think of giving up my Watford season ticket up – I mean seriously what is going on with the team! More reading to do and nothing else to report. Going to be manic weekends now as we are starting to have guests coming to the house most weekends.

How has your week been? What books have you been enjoying lately?

Until next time xxx

Stay and have a chat :)
