Well, the boy has gone back, had to drop him off on Tuesday and well it broke my little one’s heart and in turn mine seeing her upset. So once we got home, she fell asleep on me in bed. Only 9 ish weeks for both of us to survive each other….and school.
So as part of our adulting, we went to see School of Rock in London, I have never watched the film so I did not know what to expect, and it was just amazing!! I loved it, I have been listening to the soundtrack quite a lot and have my favourite songs already!!!! If you haven’t seen it, I definitely recommend you go and see it! Next time we are taking the little lady to see Matilda the musical, she loves the book and the film so quite excited about it!
My cat turned 7, time flies I remember when she was a kitten and she still looks like one!!!!!
Apart from a lot of reading, not a lot has happened! Just trying to spend time together as a unit and saw some family this weekend which was nice to catch up with some people.
So, this week I have been put on a ban by Rae as I had a mad afternoon with requesting NetGalley books! I just keep thinking of the time I will get soon to read them. I have signed up to some huge tours so I can’t wait to share them with you!
Our buddy reads is still going strong, I think we now have 11 in our group, and at the bottom of the page is the widget which links if you want to join in. The Flower Girls is what we are starting on 21st (Yesterday) but don’t let that put you off!
So no book post this week, it has been quiet, no new purchases or Kindle Unlimited rentals either, still trying to be good because of the outlay with my car, but Bluey my money cat is looking like he is getting quite full!
I did however get one book emailed for a blog tour very excited for this!
So NetGalley……..The New Achilles is for a blog tour…not sure that makes it any better whatsoever, let us not judge those who do not have the willpower and people who keep enticing me to request more!!!
Can we just move quickly on……………..
So what will you be doing tonight? Weekend? I have a book to finish for tomorrow, and I have plans tomorrow but it’s a surprise for a friend so in case they read this I will have to keep stum! Sunday is going to a nice relaxing day with the little lady and we might watch School of Rock and a nice walk by the cliffs.
How has your week been? Anything new books you want to tell me about?
Until next time xxx
