So it has been nearly a month on my new sparkly blog and I LOVE IT! Apart from having to slowly (and not annoy everyone) repost my blog posts from March – July (over a 100 to go last count….) I have been trying to think of new ways to not bombard people but have a chance of free typing rather than just reviewing. Coming up to 8 months of blogging now and it has been such a riot! I am however slowing down on my blog tours (There is a couple of busy weeks coming up before I wrote this and trying being the operative word as there are so many books!!) as I want to clear some of my back-list and requests from authors. Plus, I have a few things in the pipeline which will slowly be revealed in the next few months.
Now I use to tell you about what books I had read, what I was going to read, how my addiction for requesting books was going (Note not very well got LOADS more approved!) and what was coming up that week. I am not sure how much you guys really cared
BOOK OF THE MONTH
So I got this idea from Lolly @ The Book Review Cafe – check out her monthly recommendation for August and September here
Here is the page to see everything I manged to read in September , so now you have seen the contenders for the month………what did I choose….
Ready for this……..
Here is my review of the book.
So for me this month, was a no brainer. Don’t get me wrong I have read some absolutely FANTASTIC books but this book was just so powerful and it has left me with an ache in my heart for the two characters Andrew and Ben. Also, after reading Louise’s book that night I went out and brought her other three books on Amazon. This is how much I need to read more by her! The tour finishes today, so check out the poster below to see what else is being said!
I mean it was a tough choice as like I said I have read 30 books this month, and so many were epic! Here are the close second books….ok it is another six that I recommend highly (Link to my reviews on the pictures)
In October, I have four books I am so FRIGGING EXCITED to read, A stain on the soul by Elizabeth Davies, this is book two of the Caitlyn series.
Tell me no Lies by Alex Sinclair! His book The day I lost you is such a haunting book! My review for that book will be reposted nearer the time I am on the tour!
Our very own lovely Ronnie Turner Lies between us
and finally D.K Hood The Crying Season!!
Eek controls the squeals and the excitement!!!
What book do you recommend this month? What do you think of my choices? What are you looking forward to reading in October? Hope you had a good September and I just like to say THANK YOU for sticking by me through all my issues with the other blog and following me here!!
See you next month
