Betrayal on Every Level
Marley Bennington had brutally murdered her older sister Samantha in a drug fueled rage. Only two people know that fact as true. One of those two people, was sitting in a state prison, serving a sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. Who was that unfortunate person? Alex Clarke, Samantha Bennington’s husband, the man so buried in circumstantial evidence that he confessed to a crime he didn’t commit, rather than face a trial. He was now trapped with no way out.
It all began as sibling rivalry and jealousy, as so many tales of treachery do. Now, that intense jealousy had ended in her sister’s murder. Once Alex was tucked safely away in prison, Marley was set to inherit millions of dollars tainted with her sister’s blood. But suddenly, two obstacles stood in her way preventing her from quickly obtaining the reward for her well executed plan. One obstacle was her brother, and the other a nosy little old lady. But for Marley, this wasn’t a problem. She had killed twice already and cheated the justice system. What were a few more bodies?
Justice delayed is justice denied. Can Marley be trapped by the very people she tried to deceive? Will karma finally visit her door? Another gripping, tangled tale from the author of Facing A Twisted Judgment.

✮ My Review ✮
When I picked up this book I did not realise this was the third book in the series. Although it does not impact any of the reading, it has made me really intrigued to pick up the first two as the one constant in the books is Alex Clarke, especially with the things alluded to in this book. I did get a little bit lost at times with some of the story,
I love legal thrillers, I love courtroom dramas the best, so to get an insight into this world is something I really enjoyed. Aunt Mary, well she is a spitfire and a half, she is one crazy lady you want to make sure you stay on the good side of. The story is told mainly through Tallulah’s eyes, a family law attorney and from what I can garner a new character in this series. I really liked her as she seemed to be a voice of reason at times.
I love that the author created a character you are not meant to like them, but in Marley’s case, I kind of did like her. Don’t ask me why, there was something about her honesty and determination to get what she wanted, even though she was completely and utterly in the wrong! She is a self-absorbed woman and is out to get whatever it is she wants without thinking of anyone else. She was devious and I think that is what made me like her so much, not normally me – must be my mood!
The depth of the knowledge that Ms McGillick has is amazing, and it definitely enriches the story as you watch it unfold. It is snappy and keeps you on your toes. I am off to get the first two books on Kindle Unlimited so I can see how this story started!
It is true that Karma truly will bite you on the bum!
Until next time xxx
So what has been said on the tour so far?
Just 4 my books says
With great characters such as these, the story flowed along at a snappy pace with plenty of bumps in the road. At the outset there was rather a lot of exposition, both in explaining much of the legalese as well as establishing the backstory, but story soon found its groove. I loved the contrast of the serious elements of the crimes committed which were balanced with nice touches of light humour (usually disbelief at whatever Mary did or had done to get the results she did).

I really enjoyed this pacy crime mystery.
The Characters are strong, well written and not all likeable. I really disliked Marley, buti wasn’t meant to like her She’s a cold hearted ruthless murderer, with no redeeming qualities. But she made such a great villain.

Karma Never Loses an Address has a well-developed, sophisticated plot line. Full of unpredictable characters, you never quite know what is going to happen next. Unexpected turns keep you guessing until the very end!
