Thank you to everyone who commented last week, you were super! And the fab thing is, is that I did listen to you!
So the results are in from last week! The 3 books I am keeping are as followed…..
Which means I have kicked these 3 to the curb….sorry!!
Wow, that was hard to say bye to these books! I mean I love the Tom Clancy films! Bit gutted about the Harlan Coben one but the majority won out and I listened! This is all the fun! I mean in 1 week you have cleared 42 books off my shelf!! Some good going there!
So what offerings do we have this week???
Until it’s Over by Nicci French

Astrid Bell has known most of her housemates for years, but while they have a tangled history together—romantic pairings, one-night stands, friendships—each of them also has a past.
Astrid is on her way home one day when her neighbor accidentally knocks her off her bike. Bruised but not broken, her roommates help her home. The next day, they learn that same neighbor was beaten to death only hours after the accident. Each of them tells the police what little they know and are dismissed—until Astrid stumbles over another body. Two brutal murders in less than a week is more than just bad luck.
As the difference between friend and stranger grows harder to judge, and as the line between attraction and danger thins, the housemates—unsure if there’s a killer in their midst—guard against becoming his next victim in this steamy and suspenseful thriller from internationally bestselling author Nicci French.
I definitely have gone on a clicking stage with this duo! So another offering from this duo, what do we think?

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (Throne of Glass Book 1)
Blurb
After serving out a year of hard labor in the salt mines of Endovier for her crimes, 18-year-old assassin Celaena Sardothien is dragged before the Crown Prince. Prince Dorian offers her her freedom on one condition: she must act as his champion in a competition to find a new royal assassin.
Her opponents are men-thieves and assassins and warriors from across the empire, each sponsored by a member of the king’s council. If she beats her opponents in a series of eliminations, she’ll serve the kingdom for four years and then be granted her freedom. Celaena finds her training sessions with the captain of the guard, Westfall, challenging and exhilarating. But she’s bored stiff by court life. Things get a little more interesting when the prince starts to show interest in her … but it’s the gruff Captain Westfall who seems to understand her best.
Then one of the other contestants turns up dead … quickly followed by another. Can Celaena figure out who the killer is before she becomes a victim? As the young assassin investigates, her search leads her to discover a greater destiny than she could possibly have imagined
This has been on my list for years and there has been so much hype about this book series! Is it worth the hype? You tell me!

I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (Lorien Legacies Book 1)
Blurb
Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books–but we are real.
Our plan was to grow, and train, and become strong, and become one, and fight them. But they found us and started hunting us first. Now all of us are running. Spending our lives in shadows, in places where no one would look, blending in. We have lived among you without you knowing.
But they know.
They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England.
And Number Three in Kenya.
They killed them all.
I am Number Four.
I am next.
I remember the film of this being ok and wondering if they would ever complete the series in the movie world, but it has seemed to die its death. Now I am not sure if I am over this book series already before I have started.

This is a world divided by blood – red or silver. The Reds are commoners, ruled by a Silver elite in possession of god-like superpowers. Here, surrounded by the people she hates the most, Mare discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy the balance of power.
