You guys that comment on this week in week out are awesome! I love reading everything you have to say and I seriously do take everything you say on board and clear everything off!
So, last week was a complete split, some saying throw it all, some saying keep X,Y, and Z! What did I do?
I would have been shot if I had not kept Can You Keep A Secret? lol and now I have a feeling I have read it before….oh well!!
So what do we have to choose from this week? A whole variety that is what! I think I can tell what one person (Eva) is going to make me keep! And I think there might a couple I vito! So without further ado!

Welcome to Derry, Maine…
It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real…
They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them back to Derry to face the nightmare without an end, and the evil without a name.
So I may just keep this one! I mean it’s IT! I loved the original film and I think I did start to read this many many moons ago, so I would love to get right back to Derry please
1st to Die (Women's Murder Club, #1) by James Patterson
Goodreads
James Patterson, bestselling author of the Alex Cross novels Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girls, and Pop Goes the Weasel, offers the first of a new series dubbed The Women's Murder Club, featuring a four-woman team that occasionally works outside the system. None of the gritty darkness or frenzied action is lost in 1st to Die, although the female protagonists offer an even deeper emotional context to this suspense thriller.
Inspector Lindsay Boxer of the San Francisco Police Department suddenly finds herself in the middle of two horrifying situations: The first is that she's just learned she has an often-fatal blood disease. The second is a double homicide case she is now heading up that involves the murder of newlyweds on their wedding night. Burdened with Chris Raleigh, a new partner reassigned from the mayor's office, Lindsay finds that she has too much to deal with and turns to her best friend, Claire, the head ME on the case. Claire offers helpful advice and human, friendly contact amid a job filled with violence, cruelty, and fear.
Soon a fledgling newspaper reporter, Cindy, makes contact with Lindsay looking for a career-making story. Although Lindsay can't officially comment on the case, the two women form a rapport, and Cindy joins Lindsay and Claire for their weekly meeting. When a second pair of newlyweds is murdered, and later a third, the investigation leads to a prominent crime writer, Nicholas Jenks, who has a history of spousal abuse and a predilection for kinky, dangerous sex games. With the help of an understanding assistant D.A., Jill Bernhardt, Lindsay tries to make a case against Jenks, who even had an affair with one of the slain women. Eventually Jill joins the Murder Club, and the four ladies share private interdepartmental information in an effort to track and stop the killer before he strikes again.
It is Patterson back again, with a different series. I do love Alex Cross and I have swept away a few of his already…what do we say about this one?

His Bite Is Worse Than His Bark..
It happens innocently enough, but doesn't it happen always. A big, friendly dog chases a rabbit into a hidden underground cave - and stirs a sleeping evil crueler than death itself.
A terrified four-year-old boy sees his bedroom closet door swing open untouched by human hands, and screams at the unholy red eyes gleaming in the darkness.
The little Maine town of Castle Rock is about to be invaded by the most hideous menace ever to savage the flesh and devour the mind..
I am a cat person…..so you know this book may push me over the edge! I might become more of a crazy cat woman!
The Black Prism (Lightbringer, #1) by Brent Weeks
Goodreads
Guile is the Prism, the most powerful man in the world. He is high priest and emperor, a man whose power, wit, and charm are all that preserves a tenuous peace. Yet Prisms never last, and Guile knows exactly how long he has left to live.
When Guile discovers he has a son, born in a far kingdom after the war that put him in power, he must decide how much he's willing to pay to protect a secret that could tear his world apart.
When I started Brent’s series The Way of Shadows book, I loved his writing but it has been so long since I have had a chance to get back to him! So do we keep it?
Dissolution (Matthew Shardlake, #1) by C.J. Sansom
Goodreads
Exciting and elegantly written, Dissolution is an utterly compelling first novel and a riveting portrayal of Tudor England. The year is 1537, and the country is divided between those faithful to the Catholic Church and those loyal to the king and the newly established Church of England. When a royal commissioner is brutally murdered in a monastery on the south coast of England, Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII’s feared vicar general, summons fellow reformer Matthew Shardlake to lead the inquiry. Shardlake and his young protégé uncover evidence of sexual misconduct, embezzlement, and treason, and when two other murders are revealed, they must move quickly to prevent the killer from striking again.
Eva is going to shoot me for even questioning this but I have to be fair and include everything. To be honest this one will stay, but I like to have a bit of fun! lol
A Cottage by the Sea by Carole Matthews
Goodreads
Grace has been best friends with Ella and Flick since university. The late-night chats, shared heartaches and good times have created a bond that has stood the test of time. Now in their thirties, Grace is always a bit disappointed about how little time they get to spend together, so when Ella invites them all to stay for a week in her cottage in South Wales, Grace jumps at the chance to see her old friends. She also hopes that the change in pace will help her reconnect with her husband, Harry. Unfortunately for her, Harry isn't as enamoured with Cwtch Cottage as she is. Then Flick arrives; loveable, bubbly Flick, accompanied by the handsome and charming Noah, and suddenly the week ahead looks as though it may be even more confusing for all the residents of Cwtch Cottage.
And finally a nice light fluffy one considering what is listed above! But is it enough?
So over to you! Who Stays and Who goes?
Until next time xxx
