January is done, what is considered the longest month of the year is finally over. It has been a busy month on and off the blog for me. I have done my first ever #AuthorTakeOver and I think it went well, will have to ask Wendy! Thank You to everyone who shared the love for Wendy and her books!!
This month the focus will be on Rich Amooi! I can not wait for this one, it’s the month of love and what a better way than to dedicate 16 days to this man! That is 14 days of book reviews and an absolutely fantastic Q&A which is NOT to be missed.
Personally, well I found an awesome childminder for mini-me since her afterschool club stopped picking up from her school. Yet, this weekend when I wrote this, she gave me notice! Back to the drawing board and I have to explain the mini-me that it is not her that she is not the problem! Urgh!
I have also booked a family holiday, there is 6 of us that will be heading off to Spain in the summer. 4 adults (well the jury is out on that!) and 2 little ladies to create a lot of havoc! I CAN NOT WAIT!! I need the break, 2019 was hard on me for many reasons, January hasn’t been the best so this is one thing I am excited for!
The mini-me has now started dance on a Saturday morning and at her request, she is doing Ballet, Tap, Acro/Jazz, so between 10-12 pm on a Saturday I get to do some reading! But the big thing is she is doing a show in April, ok it’s my birthday weekend and my plans have been changed but I get to see her on the stage in Peter Pan the Big Adventure, I know it’s going to be just cute!
Well, back to all things bookish then!
What have I read this month?
I can tell you out of the 13 books I read this month, 4 are already listed as Book Contenders for 2020!! How crazy is that!
What have I bought this month?
In my defence, some of these are Kindle Unlimited (7) and I have read (3) and returned them…..but it is only a small portion of these! Oopsie!
Book Post, Giveaways and NetGalley
3 on NetGalley, and Yes I bought the book too and 2 giveaway wins and 1 just an awesome author donating his books! Plus 1 from the publishers – thank you to you all!
